Asana recently introduced new Plans in November 2023, bringing significant changes to its subscription structure.
The Premium and Business Plans have evolved to become the Starter and Advanced Plans, while the Enterprise Plan has been subdivided into Enterprise and Enterprise +.
This transformation is accompanied by increased affordability for the first Enterprise Plan, integrating key features such as Single Sign-On (SSO) and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML).
In addition, Asana responds to confidentiality needs by offering a local data hosting option, notably in Europe.
THE CHANGES
Asana announced and launched new Plans in November 2023.
Premium and Business plans are transformed into Starter and Advanced plans. Prices remain the same.
The Enterprise plan is split into two plans: Enterprise and Enterprise +. The first Enterprise plan is now much more accessible in terms of price, while integrating major functionalities (SSO, SAML).
THE IMPACTS
Until 2025, you won’t have to switch to new subscriptions if you already have an active subscription.
You will have soft limits on your current subscription (seats / portfolios / automation / reports) for a while, and later hard limits will be imposed (dates to be defined).
You can choose to switch to the new plans now, so you don’t miss out on any of the new features.
From 2025 (definitive date to be defined), you will be automatically transferred to the new subscription:
