Why is Batman a Superhero?
We all want to be superheroes. I wanted to be a superhero myself.
You know, Batman has no “divine” powers like Superman. Neither does he have a special ability like spiderman. No, he is just “a guy” with a goal in mind (to save his city, Gotham), resources at hand (lots of money and a secret cave), and a team behind him (Robin, Lieutenant Gordon and Batman’s butler, Alfred).
I wanted to be a superhero. One day, I woke up and realized I was already one. But it’s not the kind of superhero that you or I had in mind. Rather, it is someone who accomplishes a lot, someone who knows the difference between what’s useful and what’s not, someone who is organized and efficient, someone who has the clarity to say “I will never do this, let’s forget about it”, and someone with the right tools and methodology to achieve great things. I might not have changed many lives, but I managed to build things that I am proud of. I gained valuable knowledge and learned a lot while doing so, got a job thanks to it, and received a lot of pleasure in sharing my experiences. Guess what helped me to get there? Asana.
This guide will give you all the tips and tricks I learned or discovered by myself while using Asana (and trying to be productive in general). It is designed to help individuals who are using Asana to deal with his/her personal or professional tasks. I won’t teach you how to work better with teammates in Asana, as you will figure it out yourself (or with the help of an upcoming ebook, who knows). But I do believe that if you become an Asana superhero, it won’t be long before you develop you own methods and spread the word to your team and company.
Also, I strongly suggest that you become someone who has known and used Asana for a while before diving into this latest book. I won’t explain the basics, as you can pick them up from either the Asana Guide or from my first e-book, which is titled “Do Better With Asana”.
This book is made up of several small chapters that focus on one single idea. They are organized into three sections. First, we will concentrate on methods and best practices. Then, we look at potential allies who can help to improve your work and enemies you should be wary of. Finally, we delve deeper to help you become a real superhero…

“Bastien has put together an incredible Asana resource in this book. Not only does it offer tactics and tips to make your Asana experience better, but he provides readers with a sound strategy on how to make Asana work over the long term as its users and the product evolves. It’s clear he has spent a ton of time in Asana and it’s also clear that adding this book to your Asana arsenal is a wise move if you want to get more out of Asana.” Mike Vardy, productivity strategist and founder of Productivityist
